The focus is not on numerical growth, but on improving the health of the church, with the understanding–impressively documented by research–that when a church is sufficiently healthy, numerical growth will follow. Marvin Owen will be 12 Keys to an Effective Church, by Kennon Callahan, and I will have several of these books on hand for you to glean through.
